One year ago, Russia violated Ukraine's sovereignty, causing a humanitarian tragedy on an epic scale. As Ukrainians continue to resist, the need for help persists. This year, HDYB is proud to announce the "HDYB 2023 Home Brew for Ukraine Homebrew Contest." There are two ways to take part and help support Ukrainian refugee relief.

Firstly, you can purchase a simplified pale ale kit. ALL PROFITS from this kit will be donated to Ukrainian refugee relief via World Vision.

Secondly, you can purchase the simplified pale ale kit and put your own spin on it changing up the brewing methods, using hops, yeast, specialty grains, or adjuncts. The beer you brew will be eligible to be entered in the HDYB 2023 Home Brew for Ukraine Homebrew Contest. 

There is no additional charge to enter the homebrew contest, but you must drop off two 12oz bottles for judging at the Smyrna Craft Beer Fest on June 3rd, 2023. Complete details will be announced at a later date.
