Don't be afraid, it's only beer. You can watch us start a
batch from scratch. We start a batch mashing before the class so you
can see how to start the mash, test for conversion to sugar, and start
a sparge/run-off all in about 30 or 40 minutes. After that it is just
like an extract brew. See
